Rules for Pentecostal Women
The same principle holds true for women who find loving and responsible husbands. Marriages are not only a basis for happiness, they offer us longer and better-quality lives. They are also the building blocks of communities, societies and, ultimately, civilizations. The foundation for a good marriage is laid long before the wedding ceremony. Parents should determine when their children are ready to date based on their maturity and readiness to accept responsibility for their actions. When we first begin dating, it should be for the purpose of social development-that is, learning about the opposite sex and the many differences in human personality, values and temperament. Of course, even dating for marriage often begins on a social basis of getting to know another person.
The largest organized church in the pentecostal movement. Its origins may be found in the holiness revival within the Methodist Church in the decades immediately following the Civil War. It grew out of the broader Pentecostal movement of the early 20th century, which reflected influences of the Holiness and Fundamentalist biblicism movements. The main distinction between the pentecostal groups and the other denominations that grew from the same source lies in their belief that, after the religious experience of conversion and of the baptism by the Holy Spirit that sanctifies and cleanses from inner sin, it is part of the divine dispensation that the same charismatic signs that marked the Apostles after the first Pentecost should reappear in the Christian community.
Thus, the “second blessing” of the holiness sects is made manifest among the pentecostals by the healing of the sick and speaking with tongues.

Camp for Christmas
Monday, October 06, BEING attracted to the opposite sex is a natural, healthy part of life, but when it comes to being an unmarried Christian who’s dating, the million dollar question is, ‘How far is too far? At one end of the scale is the radical fundamentalist Christian who will save all forms of affection — even holding hands — for after marriage; and at the other end is the more liberal Christian who will allow public expressions of affection, like kissing, as long as it comes with certain boundaries.
For most Christians there is no sex before marriage, but the battle lines are drawn when it comes to what other forms of affection are allowed.
The largest Pentecostal Fellowship has over 67 million members around the world, and is called The Assemblies of God. Protestant Christians.
It is commonly believed among Assemblies of God constituents that lenient attitudes toward sex before or outside of marriage are completely contrary to the clear teaching of Scripture. It is also felt that uncontrolled and irresponsible expressions of affection and sexual permissiveness are directly responsible for the breakdown of much in our society. Dating and premarital courtship as practiced in 20th-century America are entirely different from the process of mate selection in Bible days.
In ancient times dating and courtship were virtually nonexistent. Marriages were arranged by fathers; and great importance was placed on family lines, histories, and dowries. Few in modern culture would care to return to the marriage system of ancient civilization. Yet our modern system is not without flaw.
The moral erosion of our culture has encouraged people to place an over-emphasis on physical attributes, appearance, and sexual attraction. This has occurred to the neglect of focusing on important qualities such as integrity, purity, and commitment; all of which are needed to sustain a marriage and family. Because dating and courtship did not exist then, neither Jesus, His disciples nor the authors of Scripture were led to specifically address these modern practices.

10 Things Christians Should Know about the Pentecostal Church
The Pentecostal movement, which emerged in the early 20th century, places a central focus on being baptized in the Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues and ecstatic worship services. Today the Pentecostal Church is not only one of the largest traditions within Christianity but one of the largest religious movements in the world. Denominations within Pentecostalism, for example, include the Assemblies of God, the Churches of God in Christ and the United Pentecostal Church International, but the movement also has several nondenominational churches as well.
As with most large religious movements, rules for women differ widely from one denomination or church to the next. Like many Christian denominations, Pentecostal churches encourage women to dress modestly defined by each denomination or church. For example, the United Pentecostal Church International defines modesty as a refusal to wear any clothing or accessory that might incite a man to lust.

Pentecostals share a common belief that baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers Christians for service and holy living. There are over distinct Pentecostal denominations worldwide, but many Pentecostals are non-denominational. Pentecostals hold diverse beliefs on a wide variety of social and doctrinal issues. Most Pentecostals’ beliefs on marriage are in line with one or more of the major Pentecostal organizations.
The Assemblies of God AG maintain that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. The relationship between husband and wife reflects the relationship of Christ and His church. The AG believes that husbands and wives are to function as partners; however, they also believe the husband bears the responsibility of leadership in the home.
The AG recognizes divorce and remarriage under circumstances such as infidelity or abandonment, but maintains that lifelong marriage to one spouse is the ideal. Those who have divorced and remarried may enjoy membership in a local church, but are not generally allowed to hold ministerial credentials. During their General Conference, the UPCI adopted a resolution affirming their belief that marriage as ordained by God involves one man and one woman joined together until parted by death.
